Still here...

To all my dear readers (yes, all five of you hahaha),

My apologies for not updating as much as I can. Things are fine around here but I have been too lazy to write. Kakatamad specially now that I'm pregnant and the belly is growing by the minute. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with morning sickness . The baby must have understood that Mama has to work and help around the house.

Anyway, I hope to write more in the coming days. I have to keep this short as A is already calling me to help him organize a surprise for Vince's 5th birthday.

Hope you will continue to check for updates from time to time.

Hatch and Grow

A few days back, 10 duck eggs visited Vince and his classmates. The kids had a great time hatching the eggs and taking care of the tiny ducklings. I've been told the ducks were even brought to the school park to play!

Here, Vince seriously watches over the ducks.

I'm just relieved that he did not ask we hatch our own duck at home! :)

Father's Day

Australia celebrated Father's Day last Sunday, September 9 which meant we celebrated Father's Day twice this year-the other one being the Philippine Father's Day in June.

Two weeks before the big day, Vince was busy in school preparing his surprise for Papa. After school, he would come up to me and whisper some updates, much to A's chagrin who was wondering what we were up to.

On "D Day", we woke up early to greet A then Vince took out Papa's loot from the bedside drawer- a pen holder, a key chain with Vince's photo on it, a Father's Day medal and a small canvas with Vince's photo on it. Too bad I wasn't able to take some photos as the little one insisted that A display the gifts at his office desk.

We then joined the First Sunday mass where all the fathers were made to go to the altar and received a special blessing. And as is customary after first sunday mass, we again feasted on free Filipino food.

Aside from Vince's special gifts, A also received something grand-- WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY! (more details in future posts)

Happy Father's Day, A!

Sydney Aquarium

We visited the Sydney Aquarium last weekend. I felt like a child again specially since I saw most of the animals for the first time. I am happy for my son that he gets to experience this early on in life.

Who would want to pat the sharks anyway? Hehe!
