Two weeks before the big day, Vince was busy in school preparing his surprise for Papa. After school, he would come up to me and whisper some updates, much to A's chagrin who was wondering what we were up to.
On "D Day", we woke up early to greet A then Vince took out Papa's loot from the bedside drawer- a pen holder, a key chain with Vince's photo on it, a Father's Day medal and a small canvas with Vince's photo on it. Too bad I wasn't able to take some photos as the little one insisted that A display the gifts at his office desk.
We then joined the First Sunday mass where all the fathers were made to go to the altar and received a special blessing. And as is customary after first sunday mass, we again feasted on free Filipino food.
Aside from Vince's special gifts, A also received something grand-- WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY! (more details in future posts)
Happy Father's Day, A!
